Who we are

Gateway Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) private day school in Phoenix, Arizona, serving bright, neurodivergent (twice-exceptional) students in grades 6–12. This policy explains how we handle information collected through gatewayacademy.us. It covers the public website only, records for enrolled students are handled separately (see “Student records” below).

Information you give us

We only collect the information you choose to send through our forms, for example, when you request information, schedule a tour, RSVP to an event, or share an alumni story. That typically includes your name, email, phone number, your student’s grade, and any message you write. We do not ask for sensitive information through the website.

How we use it

• To respond to your questions and schedule visits or tours.
• To follow up about admissions, events, and the application process.
• To improve the website and understand which information families find helpful.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

How forms are delivered

When you submit a form, it is sent to our admissions or front-office email (rsweet@gatewayacademy.us). If our form service is unavailable, the form opens your own email app so your message still reaches us. Formal applications are completed through our admissions portal, which is operated by a third party with its own privacy terms.

Third-party services

A few features rely on outside providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: our admissions portal (FACTS / fsenrollment), payment processing (ClassWallet and Square), the GradeLink parent portal, and embedded maps and calendars. We share only what those services need to function.

Cookies & analytics

The site uses minimal cookies needed for basic functionality. If we add analytics, it is configured to measure aggregate, anonymized usage only, we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Student records

Education records for enrolled students are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and are managed through our school systems, not this website. Current families with questions about student records should contact the front office directly.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for parents, guardians, and prospective families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted through the website at any time, just reach out and we’ll take care of it.
