How a referral works.
Call Robin
Call (480) 998-1071 and ask for Robin Sweet. Referrals from clinicians come to her directly, not through the online inquiry form.
Talk through the student
Tell her about the student you have in mind. She will let you know whether Gateway looks like the right next step for the family.
The family visits
If it looks like a fit, Robin invites the family in for a tour and a shadow day. The decision to enroll comes after that visit.
Who Gateway serves.
Gateway Academy is a non-profit private day school in Phoenix for bright, neurodivergent, twice-exceptional students. Every student here has an autism diagnosis, and every student is doing college-prep work.
Counseling, social skills, executive functioning, pragmatic language and sensory strategies are integrated into every day. Sometimes our counselors collaborate with a student's outside therapist, because it helps them support the student better.
