Is Gateway a school for my student?
Gateway Academy is Arizona’s non-profit private day school for bright, neurodivergent (twice-exceptional) students, grades 6–12, in Phoenix.
Most families qualify for Arizona ESA funding through an autism diagnosis or a current IEP, and tuition is $0 out-of-pocket for those who qualify. Students here are academically capable and also need real support during the day.
Counseling, social skills, executive functioning, pragmatic language, and sensory strategies are integrated into every day. Classes run about 12 students in middle school and 14 in high school. 100% of Gateway students earn college credit in grades 8–12 through ASU Accelerate; across Arizona about 25% do.
Gateway is at 3939 E. Shea Blvd., Phoenix, at the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, serving families across the Valley including Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and North Phoenix.
