# Gateway Academy

> Gateway Academy is Arizona's non-profit private day school for bright, neurodivergent (twice-exceptional) students, grades 6–12. Founded in 2005, it sits on 8.5 acres at the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve in Phoenix, Arizona. For most families, tuition is $0 through Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA).

## About

Gateway Academy serves students who are simultaneously academically bright and neurodivergent — a combination ("twice-exceptional," or 2e) that traditional schools routinely miss. The model is strength-first: develop the talent and support the difference at the same time. Small classes (12–14 students), subject expert teachers, and integrated support (counseling, social skills, executive functioning, pragmatic language, and sensory strategies) woven into every day.

## Cost & ESA
